Principle |
The dirty water is fed to the inlet of the inclined clarifier and flows downwards.
Due to the arrangement of the lamellas in the inclined clarifier, the dirty water is diverted below the lamellas and flows up through the lamellas.
This the solids sink down onto the lamellas. The purified water is transported to the outlet. The solids on the lamellas gradually slide down along the lamellar plates.
The sludge funnel is located here.
Rake |
We optionally offer the inclined clarifier with a rake, which keeps the sludge flowing.
Use |
Separation of solids and liquids by sedimentation. Inclined clarifiers are often used as a preliminary stage before filter presses or decanters for thickening. By pre-thickening a thin sludge, the filter press can be made smaller in relation to the filter surface.
